A view of the State School for the Blind in Jackson, Mississippi is featured in this black and white postcard. The three story building has balconies on the second and third floor, a clock tower in the center, dormers across the roofline, multiple chimneys, and a tall set of stairs leading to the second floor entrance. Trees surround the building and a sidewalk lined with small bushes leads up to the front steps. The tile of the card is printed along the bottom left of the image and "M. A. G." is signed near the title. The back of the postcard is addressed to Miss Lena Duling in Jackson, Mississippi and is postmarked Jackson, Mississippi, October 31, 1906. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postcard is in the upper right corner.
