Description
This color picture postcard features the central control building at the Mississippi Test Facility, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Hancock County, Mississippi. The building is a one story structure with a tower toward the center. A tall pine tree is seen in the area in front of the building and cars are parked around the building. The back of the postcard provides publisher and creator information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description at the upper left corner reads "Mississippi Test Facility, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Hancock County; This modern structure is the Central Control Building. From this building all range safety is controlled during rocket test firings and the 90-foot tower serves as an observation point for those viewing the static tests. MTF is a division of the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama."
