Description

This color advertisement postcard features Joyce's Candy Shop and Gifts. The signs around the building advertises creamy pralines, chocolate fudge, souvenirs, shells, novelties, and fireworks with Creamy Pralines 3 for 25 cents. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for postage stamp placement. The description at the top left reads "Joyce's Candy Shop Delicious Creamy Pralines--Chocolate Fudge--Paper Shell Pecans--Pecan Candies--Gifts--Souvenirs--Novelties Guaranteed Shipment Anywhere in the Country Serving the Public on Highway 90 since 1937 U. S. Highway 90--2 1/2 miles West of Bay St. Louis Bridge Mr. & Mrs. L. C. Perniciaro, Owners-Managers." "2.00" is written in pencil above the stamp box.
