This color postcard of the ivy covered Hotel Reed with lush green landscaping and Spanish moss draped trees in the foreground. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Hotel Reed, Facing the Gulf of Mexico, on Old Spanish Trail, (U.S. 90), Bay St. Louis, Mississippi." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp and address placement. "Feb. 15, 1938" is written in pencil in the middle of the card. The description in the upper left corner reads "Hotel Reed--Facing the Gulf of Mexico, on the Old Spanish Trail (U. S. 90), Bay St. Louis, Miss. Modern. Fireproof. Fifty rooms, 50 baths. American or European plan. Reasonable rates."
