Description

This color postcard features a shell road line with white fences and trees and the water in the bay can be seen to the left of the road. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Shell Road at Bay St. Louis, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address and correspondence placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, May 18, 1916. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. W. R. Wilson in New Orleans, Louisiana.

How are you all? My little Nannie is ready to take you folks for a nice little spin. It has been very cool over here. Guess you all have had some cool weather, too. Hope to see you all real soon. Love to all--[name illegible]
