Description
This color picture postcard features the front driveway entrance to Inn-By-The-Sea, flanked on either side by trees and grass as well as red clay pillars, each with a concrete statue of an elephant on top. The title at the bottom of the card reads "Entrance to Inn-By-The-Sea Grounds, Pass Christian, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. The description in the top left corner reads "Inn By the Sea-- A delightful Inn and cottages among the pines and moss-hung live oaks, beside the emerald waters of the gulf of Mexico, open every day in the year." ".75" is written in pencil beneath the postage stamp area.
