This color postcard features a seven story building on the corner of two streets. The bottom floor is two stories tall and the top two floors have tall arched windows in the center of the front facade. The roofline bears a scalloped edge and a United States Flag flies from the front center of the roofline. A bus with two men standing in front of it is parked on the street in front of the building and a car is behind the bus. People are walking the sidewalk in front of the building. The title along the top of the card identifies the building as "Bank of Gulfport Building, Gulfport, Miss.--22" The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. The description in the upper left corner reads "The Bank of Gulfport is a new 7-story bank and office building, a landmark in the progressive skyline of Gulfport, Miss." A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi December 22, 1929. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. Patsy Rofl Kohler in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
At Gulfport, Miss. Dear Patsy! A Merry Xmas to you and a Happy New Year. Will write a letter later. Sincerely yours Jan Carver
