This color picture postcard features a static firing of the main engine on a B-1 test stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center, Hancock County, Mississippi. The top center of the back of the card reads "John C. Stennis Space Center On the Gulf Coast in Hancock County, Mississippi." The description in the lower left corner reads "NASA's John C. Space Center in Hancock County, MS, Flight certifies all the main engines which power the space shuttle into low-earth orbit. Shown here on the B-1 test stand is a static firing of the powerful main engine."
