Description

This color postcard features the ivy covered Reed Hotel with lush green landscaping and Spanish moss draped trees in the foreground. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Hotel Reed, Facing the Gulf of Mexico, on Old Spanish Trail, (U.S. 90), Bay St. Louis, Mississippi." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for stamp and address placement; the description in the upper left corner reads "Hotel Reed--Noted for delicious food. Overlooking the Bay--On U.S. Highway 90; Modern-- Fireproof-- 50 Rooms-- 50 Baths. Bay St. Louis, Mississippi Fisherman's Paradise (AAA)".
