Description
This color postcard features a color drawing of a white three story beach home with trees and landscaping in front of and around it. An open gated driveway is on the left of the house. The title along the top of the card reads "Beautiful Home on Beach Drive, Waveland, Mississippi." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A one cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner. The card is postmarked "Waveland 1948." The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. Georgiana Brumbaugh, Altoona, Pa.
Transcription
I hadn't written as I didn't know whether you were at home or at Betty's. Helen had said that you were planning to go down and keep house while they were at the Police Convention. I have forgotten when that was to be. I know Helen has kept you informed as to the activities here. There hasn't been too much out of the ordinary, but we are having an enjoyable time. Camp will be over before we know it. Love, Leroy
