Description

This color picture postcard features an aerial view of the Bay St. Louis bridge with trees and houses visible in the foreground and sky and trees visible on the far side of the water. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Bay St. Louis Bridge Bay St. Louis, Mississippi." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and artist information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left of the card reads "Bay St. Louis Bridge: Looking East along U. S. Highway 90, this $9,000,000 Bridge opened Aug. 1 1953. It is over two miles long and connects Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian, Miss. Color by Jim Doane".
