Description

This postcard features a color illustration of sailboats on the open water under a cloudy moonlit sky. The card title along the top reads "A beautiful Moonlight Scene on the Gulf, the Most Peaceful Body of Water on Earth". The bottom of the card reads "Scene on the Gulf of Mexico, Gulfport, Miss." The back of the postcard is addressed to Mrs. Evelyn Danjis (Daryis?) in San Francisco, California. A one cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked "Mobile, Ala. Jun 22, 1933". The card is inscribed and The numbers "57, 19680" and .50 are written in pencil in various places along the top of the card.
