Description

This color postcard features sailboats on the water under a cloudy moonlit sky. The card title along the top reads "A beautiful Moonlight Scene on the Gulf, the Most Peaceful Body of Water on Earth". The bottom of the card reads "Scene on the Gulf of Mexico, Gulfport, Miss." he back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard with publisher and artist information and indication for message and address placement. A one cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked "Mobile, Ala. Jun 22, 1933". The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. Evelyn Danjis (Daryis?) in San Francisco, California. The numbers "57, 19680" and .50 are written in pencil in various places along the top of the card.
