Description
This color postcard features a five story white building with several trees and a sidewalk in front. The title in the upper right reads "U. S. Veteran's Administration Facility, Biloxi, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. A description in the upper left of the card reads "The Domiciliary Barracks is one of the principal buildings at the new U. S. National Soldiers Home at Biloxi, Miss. The Home has a frontage of two miles on the Back Bay of Biloxi and is situated among beautiful evergreen trees. The Home is open to the Veterans of all wars in which the United States has participated." The date "Sept. 25, 1961" is written on the top right side of the card.
