Description

This black and white postcard features a three story Spanish Mission style building with arched windows, a curved roof-line, and a cross on top. The entrance is second story covered porch with staircases leading up to it on either side. Trees and bushes are in front of the building. The title along the bottom of the card reads "St. Joseph's Academy-Bay St. Louis, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, July 12, 1948. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. A Guarino in New Orleans, Louisiana.
