Description

This sepia toned postcard features a large three story house with striped awnings over some of the second floor windows. Live oaks are in front of the house and a family with a horse and buggy are in front of the house. The title along the bottom reads "Southern Home in Waveland, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard ("carte postale universelle"). A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Waveland, Mississippi, July 27, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Ethel Orr in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
