Description
This color postcard features a street canopied by live oak trees that are draped with Spanish moss. Houses can be seen on either side of the street. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Moss Draped Live oaks Arch Over Benachi Avenue, Biloxi, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address and postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "Benachi Avenue--Where moss-hung live-oaks, planted over a century ago, make a cathedral arch over the avenue of two-fifth of a mile at Biloxi, Miss."
