Description
This black and white photo advertising postcard features a glass fronted restaurant with a hip style roof. A lighted sign across the peak of the roofline reads "Foods We Feed the People" and a sign on a pole at the street in front of the restaurant reads "Angelo's Famous Spaghetti Meatballs." Trees are behind the restaurant. The tile along the bottom of the card reads "Angelo's Place Facing the Sparkling Waters of the gulf on U. S. 90 Gulfport, Miss. M4" The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address and postage stamp placement. A description in the upper left corner reads "Dine at Angelo's Place. Owned and operated by Mr. Angelo Xidis. Nationally famous for its spaghetti, flounders, steaks, and delicious salads. This huge building is one of the finest constructions in the South, build entirely of steel, tile, and glass. It combines a kitchen and dining room unique anywhere. Angelo Xidis, the owner, is one of the few Chef de cuisine who delights in preparing all of the food himself. We Feed the People. Angelo's Place, facing the sparkling waters of the Gulf on U. S. 90.
