This color postcard features a group of children playing in the water and in a canoe at a lake. Trees surround the lake and a boat launch is on the bank where the children are playing. The title along the bottom reads "Greetings from Lucedale, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Lucedale, Mississippi, December 1, 1934 and Jefferson City, Tennessee, December 2, 1934. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. Berchcooper in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
