Description

This color postcard features a pathway lined with colorful bushes leading to a gazebo. Flowers and trees are around the gazebo and a water fountain feature is to the right. The gazebo has a set of stairs leading up to it's platform, stone columns, and brown roof toped by an ornate metal rod. Another structure is seen behind the gazebo. The title along the top of the card reads "One of the many Beautiful Gardens, Biloxi, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Biloxi, Mississippi, December 11, 1913. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. A.C. Carder in Belton, Virginia.

Biloxi, Miss Dec. 10, 1913 We have been enjoying awhile down here on the coast where it looks like summer. We go to New Orleans Friday and then home in time for Christmas. Frances Smadley
