Description
This color postcard features the view of a stone lined flowering bed with a view of the Gulf waters beyond it. A tree and a pier are also visible on the left. People are gathered around the flowering bed and are depicted as walking on the street in front of the beach. The title along the top left reads "Looking Seaward Along West Beach Boulevard, Biloxi, Miss." The title along the bottom reads " View from the White House Hotel." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address and postage stamp placement. A description in the upper left reads "West Beach Boulevard, with its massive oaks, beautiful palms, flowers and plants of a semi-tropical climate, furnishes an unusual sight to the visitor and tourist. The picture was taken during a mid-winter day."
