Description

This postcard features a color illustration of a large, white, two story house as seen from the front walkway. Trees of various sized surround the house, partially obscuring the view of the house. A sidewalk leads to the front entrance of the house and a slatted bench flanks each side of the sidewalk. The title across the top of the postcard identifies the house as being Lynne Castle in Pass Christian, Mississippi. A handwritten inscription that reads "From W. J. R. Mar. 26th 1905" is written to the right of the image. The copyright information is printed along the bottom left edge. The back of the postcard identifies it as a "Private Mailing Card" with indication for postage stamp placement and notes that that side is exclusively for the address.
