Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the shoreline where the Baratavia Canning Company is located in Biloxi, Mississippi. Buildings and other structures are to the right of the shoreline and two canoes or small boats are cocked on the rocky beach. the title of the image is printed in red beneath the bottom edge of the image and an inscription is written beneath the title. The inscription reads, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year--Ada Siran" "Where the Shrimp come from" is written to the side of the title. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. E. S. McKinlay in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. the card is postmarked twice: Biloxi, Miss., December 23, 1907 and Steamboat Springs, Colo., December 28, 1907. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
