This postcard features a color illustration of the Magnolia Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The hotel is depicted as a white, two story building with wood toned columns and trim along the front porch. Leafy trees partially obscure the view of the house. People in late 19th century clothing are depicted out on the grassy lawn among the benches in front the hotel. The title of the card is printed along the bottom right edge of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Park Kelly in Mattoon, Illinois. The card is postmarked twice: Mattoon, Ill., March 16, 1908 and Pass Christian, Miss., March 1908. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card. An inscription is written on the left side of the card. [see transcription field]
