Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the three story City Hall in Biloxi, Mississippi. The building has a tower on each end, curved windows, and a balcony at the window above the entrance. Two children are seen standing at the ornamental fountain in front of the building. The title is below the bottom edge of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Hugh Cawood in Bristol, Tennessee. The card is postmarked Bigstone Gap, Virginia, September 15, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left side of the card. [see transcription field]

Big Stone Gap, Va September 15, 1908 Dear Uncle Hugh. How are you and Ruth getting along since I left out there. Ruth Joens said to tell you Helo. I would love to see you all now. Did you go out grandma's Sunday. I wish you had come home with me and stay about a month. goodbye. Lilla. [sic]
