Description

This postcard features a sepia toned image of "Royal Terns" or sea gulls nesting on the Shell Keys, of Pass Christian, Mississippi. The beach is covered in shells or rocks and large flock of seagulls are flying toward the beach or are already settled on the beach. Water can be seen to the right. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image. The back of the card is not addressed or postmarked but does have inscriptions on both sides. [see transcription fields.

[on the left] I forget what cards I sent you last time, but am sure I did not send you this. F. E. O. Feb. 20, 1911 [on the right] Fannie passed away Sun. a. m. on June 18, 1911.
