Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Gulf and Ship Island Railroad General Offices in Gulfport, Mississippi, a large concrete fountain pool with a sidewalk leading up to a large white three story building. The building features arched or rounded windows on the top floor and a flag flying from the center of the roof. Trees and shrubs line the fountain and the building. Other buildings can be seen behind the central building. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Ann McNair in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Gulfport, Miss., February 18, 1908 and a green, one cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
