Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the harbor and pier on the coastline in Gulfport, Mississippi. Boats and ships can be seen on the water with a light pink sky on the horizon. A postmark for Tampa, Florida, September 25, 1908 is in the upper left of the image and the title of the card is printed beneath the bottom edge of the image. The publisher is printed in the lower left of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. H. O. Pettit in Tampa, Florida. The card is postmarked Biloxi, Miss., September 23, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. The card is inscribed on the left half of the card. Dear Mother and Father:- Rec'd card this A. M. "B" got over dose of gas, bus alright, now. We are all well, am sending you a Biloxi Paper, will write later--Ella [sic]
