Description

This postcard features a color image of the government building and post office in Biloxi, Mississippi, a three story building with arched brick pillars on the bottom entrance and four, two story white columns across the second story balcony, stone columns on each end. Dental molding lines the roofline and arched windows are on the first floor. People are pictured on the sidewalk next to the building and two people are across the road from it. The title of the card is printed in the upper left of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. John Gensen in New Orleans, Louisiana. The card is postmarked August 17, 1912 and a green, one cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card.
