Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Great Southern Hotel in Gulfport, Mississippi, a four story building with white trim and dormers periodically across the roof line. A large sign for the hotel is on top of the roof, in the center. The title of the card is in the upper edge of the image. The back of the card includes the location of the hotel printed in the upper left, "Located right on the beach and in the heart of the city, Great Southern Hotel overlooks the scenic harbor." "1948" is written in pencil int he lower left.
