Description
This postcard features a color illustration of the rotunda inside the Great Southern Hotel in Gulfport, Mississippi. The rotunda consists of chairs placed among several columns. People in early twentieth century clothing. A smaller image of a sailboat on the water is in an oval to the right and an inscription is written beneath it. The title of the card is printed in red beneath the image of the rotunda. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Kath Johnston in Lincoln, Illinois. The card is postmarked Scranton, Miss., November 3, 1904 and Lincoln, Ill., November 5, 1904. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
