Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Great Southern Hotel lawn in Gulfport, Mississippi with fountain pools and sidewalks. A three story building in the distance and people are standing on the sidewalks on the lawn. The title is printed in blue beneath the bottom left edge of the image. "How are you Lula" is written along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Mack Robinson at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. The card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi, January 8, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
