Description

This postcard features a color view of the Great Southern Hotel in Gulfport, Mississippi as viewed from the shoreline of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Hotel is four stories tall with dormers, two towers and white trim around the windows and balconies. A United States flag is flying from a pole on the lawn. The title of the card is printed in blue beneath the bottom of the image with the date, June 7th 1908, is written in blue ink in the bottom center of the card. The copyright and publisher is printed in the upper right corner of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Virginia Billow. The card is not postmarked, nor does it include a postage stamp.
