Description
This postcard features a color illustration of a flower with a woman's face in the center and depictions of coastal scenes and buildings in the petals of the flower. A courthouse, a public school, the government light house, a sailboat on the water, and a park are the areas depicted in the petals. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Herman Brune in Jacksonville, Illinois. The card is postmarked Pascagoula, Mississippi, February 4, 1911 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
