This postcard features a four color illustrations of beach homes in Biloxi, Mississippi set within an illustration of a large flower. The title of the card is printed within the flower illustration between the two bottom houses. The houses are varied in style such as Spanish influence, colonial influence, and Craftsman influence. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. A. Barrette in Tipton, Indiana and is postmarked Biloxi, Mississippi, January 4, 1916. A green, one cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and an inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Jan 3-1916 Dear Mrs. Barrett we are in Biloxi now we are having beautiful weather Mr Hanna seems to be gaining in health we live near Vicks we all went to church together yesterday hope this will find you all well Mrs. DV Hanna [street address] Biloxi Miss [sic]
