Description

An illustration of a busy street at the turn of the 20th century is featured in this color postcard. Horses pulling wagons and carriages, two streetcars, and one early 20th century model cars are pictured among the buildings and storefronts that line the streets at the corner of 14th street and 25th avenue. A Gulport, Mississippi postmark with an illegible date is next to a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp on the back of the card. A note written from Rosa to Auralia Kuhn in New Orleans, Louisiana, is written sideways on the left half of the card.
