Description

This stereoview card or stereograph shows two stereoscopic views (two different images) of Greenville, Mississippi on the Mississippi River as a part of the American Scenery Series. The image on the left shows a saloon sign that it cut off from the image on the right. A man driving a horse drawn wagon is pictured driving down the dirt street between the saloon an other buildings while a group of men are standing on the porch outside the saloon. "Greenville, Miss. on the Mississippi River is printed on the bottom of the image on the right. "American Scenery" is printed on either end of the yellow stereoview card. The title of the card is handwritten along the top of the back of the card and "The Treadwell Collection" is stamped at the bottom.
