This postcard features a faded black and white portrait of a baby in a white dress. The image is within and oval. The back of the postcard is addressed to Mrs. Ada Johnson in Lambert, Mississippi though it was never mailed. "Hamile Baby" is written along the upper right edge and an inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Transcription

I was six months old when this was taken but it is very much like her yet. Come to see us real soon. Lovingly, Hattie.
