Description

This postcard features a black and white photograph of four people gathered on the steps and front porch of a house. Lena Keel, right standing with and unknown woman, Mr. Read , seated beside Mable Allen on the porch steps, all of Lambert, Mississippi. Ca. 1907. The women are all wearing early 20th century dresses with hats and Read is wearing a bowler hat and a dark suit with a white shirt and tie. Read is tickling Allen beneath her chin. Rows of potted plants are on the porch to the left of the group. The identities of the people is written on the back of the card.
