Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the south side public square in Grenada, Mississippi. A row of buildings are pictured on the right side of the square with people on the sidewalks in front of them. Trees, grass, and a number people, horses, and wagons are pictured on the street and grass of the square. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. W. Simpson in Memphis, Tennessee. The card is postmarked Grenada, Mississippi, October 14, 1907 and a green, one cent Captain John Smith commemorative postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
