Description
This color postcard features a street lined with trees, utility poles, and large Victorian homes. A large Victorian home is at the end of the street. The title along the top of the postcard reads "22nd Avenue, Residential Section, Meridian, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address, placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Meridian, Mississippi June 29, 1906 . The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. George I. Dwavitt in Montpelier, Vermont.

Camp life must be very fascinating in such beautiful surroundings. I am sure you are happy to be home. We are looking for mabels house tonight. Just think we've not seen her for 18 months! We will not sleep for a [?]!! She enjoyed your visit so much in N. Y. I think I shall retire with Mabel in the fall and I hope to see you there. We are planning a big time when Mabel comes. Are you doing much fishing? June 29th Emily [?] [sic]
