This postcard features a group of color illustrations of buildings at Meridian College, in Meridian, Mississippi within the petals of a flower with a woman wearing a mortarboard with a tassel in the center. The buildings depicted are (clockwise from top left) Science Hall Woman's College, Conservatory of Music Woman's College, Administration Building Meridian Male College, Administration Building Woman's College, and Proposed Auditorium Meridian College. The title of the card is printed in red in the lower right corner. The back of the card is addressed to Alice K. Dow in Pensacola, Florida. The card is postmarked Meridian, Miss., September 12, 1903 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is typed on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
