Description

This black and white postcard features a busy street with several horse drawn carriages and buggies traveling the street and tall buildings on either side. A floral drawing is beneath the image of the street and the title "23rd Street Looking North" is at the end of the floral design. "Meridian, Miss." is beneath the floral design and handwritten inscription is beneath that. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Meridian, Mississippi, November 19, 1904. The card is addressed to Mr. Andrew Lind in Jamestown New York.
