Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the four story chapel on the Mississippi A. and M. College campus, now Mississippi State University. A tower is seen on the left corner of the chapel and white railing and columns line the front porch and second story balcony both of which wrap around to the right end of the building. The title of the card is printed along the bottom. Several damaged spots are seen on the card and image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Margeret Perns in Drew, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Agricultural College, Miss., June 24, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed on the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Dear Margaret was so glad to get your sweet card, you must write often Am so sorry that Luci is dead. I feel very sorry for all of them. How must go, so bye by with much love to all, O. E. [sic]
