Description
This black and white picture postcard features a street with buildings on either side and a large five story building at the far end. A water tower can be seen behind the far building. On the right is Threefoot Brothers and Company, Wholesale Grocers, Cotton Buyers, and Exporters. Horse drawn carriages are on the street and people are on the sidewalks. "Meridian, Miss." is in the upper right corner and the title along the bottom identifies the street as "8th Street at 30th Avenue." The photographer is listed in the lower left of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address and postage stamp placement. The card is addressed to Olive Armsbrorig from Papa.
