Description

This black and white postcard features several men in long coats and hats standing in a park among park structures. A well is in the center and a gazebo and a bench are to the right. A pavilion is in the distance. The title along the bottom of the card reads "The Well at Lake Park, Columbus, Miss." An inscription is handwritten beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Columbus, Mississippi, January 18, 1907. The card is addressed to Miss Maud E. Hamilton in East Northfield, Massachusetts .
