This color postcard features the dining room of a restaurant. A wide green carpet separates the dining room tables. The tables are dressed with white tablecloths. Two men in black suits and ties are standing on either side of the dining room. A small table with flowers stands near the front of the room on the green carpet. The title in the lower right identifies the scene as "Dining Room, Hotel Gilmer, Columbus, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed sideways in the upper right and the card is postmarked Birmingham Nashville R. P. O. TR12 22, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. [?] Stennack in Macon, Georgia.
