Description
This black and white postcard features a gothic style church with a tower on the right corner entrance and a shorter tower on the left corner entrance. Arched stained glass windows are throughout. People are on the entrance steps and trees are beside and behind the church. The title in the upper right reads "First Methodist Church, West Point, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Trebloc, Mississippi, November 16, 1948. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Margaret Lavender in Fernbank, Alabama.

Nov. 13 -48 Hi Kid, Hows everything with you by now? All ok here. My girls are in school. Guess you are too. How's Ouida and Wilma? Also Sonny? Tell them I said hello. I spent Sun. with Mama and Bertie. Made some quince preserves last night. Sure are good. Why don't you come sometime. I'd be so glad to have you by now. Be sweet. Write your cousin. Loudia [sic]
