Description
This color image depicts a statue on top of a tall base. Trees and a building are behind the statue. The back of the card describes the statue as "Statue of Captain Joseph T. Jones, Gulfport, Miss. Statue of Captain Joseph T. Jones--Oil Producer--Penn. And W. Virginia. Whose vision, courage and indomitable energy made possible the construction of the Gulf and Ship Island Railroad and the City and Harbor of Gulfport, Mississippi."
