Description

This postcard features two black and white images from Iuka, Mississippi. The image on the left is a two story house with a gabled roof, a long front porch and a second story balcony. Trees are behind the house and bushes of varying sizes are in front of and beside the house. A wood rail fence runs along the front yard near the road. The second image is a group of gazebos and a dock at a small body of water. Trees are seen behind the gazebos. "Iuka, Miss." is printed below the left edge of the image and the photographer's name, Brewer, is printed beneath the right edge of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Lorena Phillippa in Corinth, Mississippi. the card is postmarked Iuka, Miss, September 1907 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
